Bus tours are welcome at Adaland Mansion and something our staff loves to help coordinate. We host 6 to 10 bus tours annually serving 50 guests who spend a afternoon or evening with us. Visits to Adaland include a lunch or dinner buffet a private tour of the house and stop at our gift shop.
Bus tours typically combine their visit to Adaland with a stop at the Gandy Dancer Theatre, Tygart Flyer Railroad in nearby Elkins, or Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston.
All bus tours must be prearranged and scheduled in advance. Adaland staff will work with tour companies in arranging menus, scheduling, and special items to meet their needs. A buffet lunch or dinner can be provided by Adaland for $37.00 per person. The bus driver and the tour guide are given complementary meals. Adaland Mansion has wheelchair access to the patio, pavilion, and dining rooms. Handicapped restrooms are also located in the main house in the first-floor dining room. Accommodations can be made in seating for vision and hearing handicaps for performances. Please call ahead at 304-457-1587 if you are bringing handicapped individuals so we can help them enjoy their visit.
