Get the full Adaland Tea experience
At Adaland you’ll enjoy a four or five course menu, choices of teas, fine china, an fancy gathering, and even champagne (if you are so inclined). We have three types of Tea Events. We host a spring High Tea, a Fall Royal Tea and a New Years Buffet Tea. All require reservations with prepayment and have limited seating.
You can also book a private tea for up to 50 people with our tea caterer a couple times a year. These private teas book very fast and are booked according to the staffs availability.
Our teas range in cost from $35.00 to $40.00 depending on the type of event and the number of courses.
Buffet Dinners and Teas
Special occasion buffet dinners and teas are pre-announced on the Adaland annual calendar and reservations are required. In addition, special buffet events may be booked for groups of 50 or more.
High Tea
A noon or early afternoon event with a four course menu of fruit, finger sandwiches, scones, dessert and choice of tea. Includes a private table side presentation of tea history, etiquette, and brewing techniques. Specialty booking and reservations are required. Perfect for any special occasion. $35.00 per person.
Royal Tea
An early evening event with a five course menu of fruit, finger sandwiches, scones, a savory course, and dessert. Includes your choice of tea and a glass of champagne. Includes a private table side presentation of tea history, etiquette, and brewing techniques. $40.00 per person.
A lovely experience
We came into the area to revisit the AB campus, and discovered Royal Tea at Adaland. The four of us had a wonderful time, tea was interesting and plentiful. The service was impeccable, the Mansion was lovely and decorated for Christmas. A lovely experience and look forward to when we are in the area again and can revisit. A wonderful partnership of volunteers to enhance a lovely old Mansion.
